rooSports is an ASIC-registered Australian start-up on a mission to eliminate the high fees, seasonal lock-ins, and complex registrations of traditional leagues. Inspired by leading international models and grassroots domestic programs, our digital platform connects local parks with certified mentors and enthusiastic players.
A modern playbook: Designed around busy parents' calendars with on-demand booking and flexible scheduling.
Find quick answers on registration fees, WWCC mentor checks, child safety, and event notifications.
Yes, you'll set up a secure parent profile, where you will then be able to link each child individually (name, age, and other relevant details like emergency contact/medical notes). There is no separate login needed for kids; all bookings and payments run through your parent account.
The fee covers ground hire costs and miscellaneous administration fees. GST is calculated and displayed separately on an invoice (10%, as per Australian requirements). You see exactly what you're paying for before you checkout.
You can see how many children are already registered at a given ground or event, helping you gauge whether it's likely to run. For privacy reasons, we will not release private details of other registered families, solely the number of players.
All coaches must acquire a Working With Children Check (WWCC). You'll need to provide your WWCC number, expiry date, card type and upload supporting ID/documentation. Until that's verified, you will not have access to team rosters or match dashboards, even if you've signed up to volunteer.
Browse upcoming soccer, basketball, and touch rugby sessions in your suburb. Register per event with transparent pricing and zero seasonal tie-ins.
